How to Make a Pineapple HackHow to Make a Pineapple Hack

You might have seen this quite handy pineapple hack lately, showing people effortlessly sliding a pineapple in half, super-easy, and absolutely perfect for snacks! In this article, we’ll be taking you through step by step the process of how to create this super-simple pineapple hacking idea. First, to start with, you will need a pineapple that is perfectly ripe (not green, but not yet hard). Do not try to get your fruit while it’s green; it won’t work as well. Second, find yourself an old board or table cloth (a thin one will do) and lay the pineapple on top of it, making sure it is snugly against the surface.

How to Know About a Pineapple Hack

Thirdly, you will want to slice the pineapple into quarters, about one inch thick per piece. You can use a serrated knife to cut each quarter into two even strips, if desired. Use your remaining hand to hold the strip of pineapple upside down, and cut away with the knife. (Note: the pineapple may get wispy at this point) Now all that’s left is to cut off the long, green “tail” at the top of the pineapple, which is usually what results in this super-simple pineapple hack.

When cutting out the pineapple pieces, make sure you don’t cut too deep into the flesh. This will prevent the pineapple from sticking together. After all the pineapple has been removed, wash, clean, and dry the pieces in the laundry before putting them in your food processor. As for that delicious hack of a dish… if you’re planning on making this at home, use pineapples and freeze the leftovers in small airtight containers; this will keep pineapples fresh for up to a week.
